A former esthetician, she serves a diverse clientele, addressing a broad range of health concerns. Her journey to nursing was anything but typical. Beginning as a psychology student, she explored careers in finance and real estate before discovering her true passion for healthcare and holistic medicine. In 2020, while working as a full-time ER nurse at St. Bernardine’s Hospital and completing her Master’s in Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University, Maryum was diagnosed with stage IV lymphoma.
